This weekend marks 8 years since my mothers stroke, many of you may already know this but I started baking because of her. The determination I had to make sure she had an at home therapy was picking up a hobby she loved to do. Simply asking her to teach me and getting her to mix her favorite recipes led me to a passion I didn't think i'd enjoy (I had no idea how to bake anything let alone read a recipe 8 years ago). My mom is truly my inspiration and motivation each and every day. I continue to learn new things, stay determined and ensure that I can be the best me possible so she can be proud of her daughter. I am forever grateful for her positive attitude her spirit and her strength to keep fighting an staying strong. I don't know what i'd do without my mom,❤️ you forever mom!
